EP900 FOR STUDIO CITY

Update May 1, 2020 the city of Los Angeles is gripped in the new COVID pandemic just after releasing the Studio City gymnasium project out for bid in December 2019. Only 2 sources bid the project so it is expected there will be another round.

One of the greatest advantages the hybrid rooftop ventilator offers is the free gravity air flow that is enhanced by the unique turbine top. Here is a comparison with data compiled on both the Edmonds and Invisco fans.

In 2015 James Shwe was introduced to the CSR Edmonds EP900 hybrid rooftop ventilator and he was so impressed by its performance he immediately knew it would be perfect for the Studio City gymnasium project he had. In 2016 Kurt improved on the Australian design to add far better operation in the static pressures seen almost everywhere in the US.

James added the Invisco Industrial EP900 to his specification to offer this better performance as an option. The EP900 from Invisco is unlike the TP900 we now offer in that the EP900 is designed to offer better performance than the Edmonds EP900 but still offer a reasonable price. The difference is as follows

EdmondsĀ EP900…………5,880 CFM at 0.00 SP
…………………………………………0 CFM atĀ 0.11 SP
Invisco EP900…………….8,005 CFM at 0.00 SP
…………………………………..6,400 CFM at 0.11 SP
